Yesterday, as I watched Mayor Michael Hancock take the oath of office and announce the appointment of Derek Okubo, I thought with love and respect of the legacy of John and Sandy. Their ideas, their language, their nurturing of the next generation of civic leadership still guides us. They would have been so proud.
