Approaching 3 years since this tragic accident, I'm struck by continued great memories of their lives, their contributions, Katie's strength & spirit since then, and yet still a strong sense of loss. When I'm at a meeting or in front of a group where not everyone is on the same page, I often think of Uncle John and try to channel his collaborative skills. Even more so, as much of our political dialog has become so adversarial I think of his ability to pull people together and hope for more reasoned dialog and progressive discourse in the future. We miss you and, Cousin Katie, my thoughts are with you this holiday season and always. Love the way your strong spirit and enthusiasm is carrying on and the ways you're contributing and giving back to society. Your parents and sister would be proud. To everyone who still stops by this site, travel safe now & always and don't forget to tell those you love how much they mean to you.
